NEW Kickstarter SHOTBOX 2.0 Campaign Now Live - PANELS Debut
over 9 years ago – Tue, Sep 20, 2016 at 04:12:48 PM

Hello awesome backers of our original campaign!

We are now live with the SHOTBOX 2.0 campaign. The solo SHOTBOX is the same as last year, but we're releasing the new PANELS extension here as well. The Pledge level for those is the $35 one (+shipping). Thank you so much to those of you who Pledged in the recent postponed campaign, and thank you again for helping this reboot.

With this push we'll be broadcasting wider and more aggressively to reach new eyeballs and user bases. This will enlarge our SHOTBOX community and strengthen out ability to extend the product line into the future.

We'll be doing more cross promotions during this campaign. It is through these partnerships that SHOTBOX will be seen more, and we will be able to help other entrepreneurs as well. So please check out their great projects too.

As always, your support and enthusiasm are extremely appreciated. Thank you.

More soon...

Aaron

SHOTBOX PANELS New Campaign!
over 9 years ago – Wed, Aug 10, 2016 at 12:00:48 AM

 Hello!

You might have already seen the new campaign for SHOTBOX PANELS, but I wanted to make sure you knew about it. It's live now at:

www.kickstarter.com/projects/695573783/shotbox-with-panels

This is a great addition to the creativity of your original box. Our goal is only $15,000 for the tooling, engineering and setup costs, but we hope to do more than that and get the new product in everyone's hands.

Your support is always greatly appreciated.

Aaron

Also, I still have 7 unanswered surveys from the original campaign. I've reached out many times with the only contact information available. So if you are one of these individuals and see this Update, PLEASE let me know. I want to get your Shotbox to you!

A Belated Followup
almost 10 years ago – Tue, Apr 12, 2016 at 07:41:04 PM

Hello all,

It's been a whirlwind over the last few months. I actually just got back from China again to oversee the second run. It's amazing...and absolutely because of your original support.

A couple of house cleaning items:
1- I still haven't finished the green trim decal that can be applied on the side of your Shotbox. I've had a few swings and misses regarding the right applique. I know that this isn't critical, but I still feel the need to deliver, at least to those that still prefer it. So if you fall into that category please let me know and I will finalize an order and get it finally done. My apologies for this.

2- To my calculations I still have 8 backers that I've never received their survey answers and addresses from. I've sent out emails from Kickstarter, Backerkit and my personal email to contact these individuals. Email is the only info that I have so I'm limited to these methods. If you have NOT received your Shotbox, please please please get back to me.

3- There are still a few international orders that should be in the works, and a few that we've had some delivery problems. Please get in touch with me if you haven't already.

4- Please get back to me if you have any international power adapter needs. I've worked through the issue with a good number of you, and want to make sure everyone is taken care of.

5- How are things going? Please let me know if you've had any issues using your Shotbox. We'd LOVE to see what you've done. Come to our Facebook pages and share!

Also, I'm shouting out about Grubstick, a campaign going on right now by one of my previous business partners. Check it out and support him! It's an awesome concept and product. Grubstick Kickstarter Campaign.

I'll still follow up with you all from time to time with updates and news. We're developing some great accessories and extensions and will let you know more about them.

Thanks always,

Aaron

Shipping Nearly Complete!
about 10 years ago – Thu, Jan 07, 2016 at 01:51:22 PM

Hello incredible backers!

We've been sprinting for two weeks now trying to get the tiger by the tail instead of the teeth, so to speak, and we're just about there. Many of you have already received your Shotbox, and if not, you will soon. Nearly ALL of the orders have been shipped, barring some of the trickier international ones. But those will go out by Friday as well. If you are still waiting and haven't gotten your tracking number via email yet, please let me know at [email protected].

For those that selected the Kickstarter green trim you'll notice that it isn't on the Shotbox when you open it. We just didn't have enough time for the factory to do it in time for the sail date. We were already delayed long enough. So the solution is still coming to you. I've designed a die-cut vinyl applique that is very easy to press into the debossed logo, which you can do yourself. I am waiting for the custom supply of these to come in and will mail a set to each of you that designated this. The nice option of this is that it is removeable if at some point you wished to take your box back to simple white.

Even amidst the fury of prepping, processing and shipping nearly 900 orders and all that that entails this has been a few of the most satisfying weeks of my life. I so appreciate the support and patience of all of you...and especially the great reviews that are starting to come in. Please join our Facebook community if you haven't already at www.facebook.com/myshotbox

As for me, I am heading to CES in Vegas this weekend and then straight back to China from there. I hope to find some good accessories at CES, as well as scope out that channel. And in China I will oversee the 2nd production run that we want to get on the water by Chinese New Year.

Below are some visuals and descriptions of the Shotbox packaging and parts, helpful to see how everything fits together. Thanks always to each of you. This has been a great journey. It won't end here, but it's a great milestone.

I'll continue to give updates, of course, until we're 100% signed, sealed and delivered.

Aaron

Thank you and Merry Christmas!
over 10 years ago – Thu, Dec 24, 2015 at 10:50:05 PM

Hello all,

What a tornado week this has been. I've had countless deadlines and stacked all-nighters in my career, but never ones more exciting and fulfilling as this one.

First off, my sincere apologies for not getting an update out earlier. I've been focused like Buddy the Elf on the assembly line, and ultimately about as partially successful. We got a bunch of your "Etch-A-Sketches" out the door in your hands, but not all of them. If you have not received your Shotbox yet, then I'm a cottton-headed-ninny-muggins! But yours is within days of getting there.

I so wanted everyone to have them by Christmas. The container finally drove in on Wednesday morning after way more delays than wished for or expected. It was held up for four days on the dock...valuable days that missed our last weekend delivery and the full chance to get them all out the door. I've found that international freight doesn't budge much regardless of how much kicking you do. But due to a great fulfillment service that we've partnered with a good many of you have indeed received your package already. They unloaded a full container, packed and shipped over 300 orders within the 7 hours that we finally had before the FEDEX pickup. I can't thank them enough. It was awesome to behold. Ultimately they will fulfill the entire Kickstarter orders within 2 working business days. It's unbelievable. It would take us 2 weeks or more if we tried to do it ourselves. They are the secret weapon to all of this.

For those that didn't get them today, your Shotbox is either enroute or will be shipped on Monday. You may have already gotten shipping update emails, or will over the next few days.

I'm so grateful for all of you in expressing financially and emotionally your support for this creation. It's been such an incredible journey for me personally in getting this dream to reality and wouldn't have happened without each of you. It's what the incredible concept of Kickstarter is all about. So I wish each of you countless blessings at this time of year. I hope each of you find yourself surrounded by loved ones, warmth and lots of delightful goodies.

Aaron
